We have a few side projects underway to archive Argonne’s computing history over the past 70+ years w/ a focus on the past 35.
We have a good number of photos from 1947 to 1980 and from 2008 to the present, but we’re missing the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s.
If you have good photos of people, machines, old data centers, SC Conferences, etc., please upload them to a shared CELS Box folder (link below). We’ll take
anything you have from any era, especially 1980 to 2008.
If possible, please add a brief caption/year in the file’s metadata (look under Properties > Metadata).
The folder should be shared with employees in CELS's computing divisions. Let me know if you experience any problems accessing the folder or adding captions.
