I want to provide you an update on the CPS Division Director search.  The committee did an excellent job interviewing and evaluating all of the candidates.  It was great to see such an excellent range and diversity of candidates come forward for the role.  After reviewing all of the input and meeting with the finalists, I decided to offer the position to Salman Habib and he has accepted with an official start date of February 1, 2019.  Salman will continue to support the PSC ALD in his interim role as the Deputy Division Director of HEP for transitional period as well.   Official announcement will be coming out shortly but I wanted to alert you to this in advance of the lab wide announcement.   

Please join me in welcoming Salman to the CELS ALD as our newly selected CPS Division Director and thanking Paul Messina for his leadership as the CPS division director since taking on the role.  His more than 30 years of service to Argonne is impressive and greatly appreciated.
