We've been invited to again participate as a host for the NSF MSGI program ( https://orise.orau.gov/nsf-msgi/default.html ).

The program funds a doctoral student to perform research in the mathematical sciences at host institutions, we typically host 6-10 of these.

PS- Students must apply directly (see above), and the past three years have shown that it may help if they emphasize their mathematical background (the program seems to reject people if they appear too engineering-y) and name Argonne as a desired host location.
