All,
I am very pleased to follow up with you concerning the announcement made by Paul Kearns at
our last All Hands meeting. Beginning in June, the Laboratory is now hosting its first cohort of 16 National
GEM Fellowship students. The Argonne Hispanic/Latino Club and Argonne African American employee resource groups, in coordination with Educational Programs,
are requesting volunteers to facilitate weekly Student Connect meetings. Student Connect is forum for students to discuss their Argonne experience with one another in 30-minute video calls with the GEM students over their ten-week virtual internships. Please
reply with any interest and availability to Arista Thurman - athurman@anl.gov.
Mike
