Finally getting this announcement out. Sorry for the delay…

Laurie, Emma, and I invite you to join us for this year's

Procrastinators' Christmas Party, to be held Sunday, January 27th

at 2:00pm. We'll have the usual assortment of snacks and holiday

sweets, along with nonalcoholic beverages (juice, soda, etc.), wine,

and (seasonal and non-seasonal) beer.

Children and spouses/friends are welcome. We'll have the usual grab

bag (w/ stealing) gift exchange, so please bring one wrapped gift

(approx. $15) per person participating in the exchange.

If possible, let us know that you're coming, so we know how much

food to prepare (not to worry if you don't—I always make too much

anyway). We'll also have a small gift exchange for the kids not

participating in the "adult” exchange.  Guidelines are below.

We're at 733 Metropolitan Ave, Bolingbrook. Directions are below.

Google Maps and Apple Maps also know the way.

Hope to see you there...

Paul

Guidelines on the kids exchange:

please bring a (wrapped) gift (<$10) that would be appropriate for your own child(ren) and label it with the suitable age range and gender, e.g., Boy 10-16yrs or Boy/Girl 1-3 yrs.  We'll do our best to shuffle the gifts around so your kids leave with something other than what you bring, but we'd hate to have the lone infant end up with a box of legos or a teenager end up with a baby toy.

Directions:

From I-55:

I-55 to the Weber Road exit (1st exit south of 53)

North on Weber Road to Rodeo/119th St

Left (west) on Rodeo to Madison (about 1 mile)

[Madison is not well marked as such; there is, however, a big sign for

Southgate Park; it's just past a church; if you get to the golf

course, you've gone too far.]

Right (north) on Madison to Park Place (road tees)

Left (west) on Park to Metropolitan (1st right)

Right (north) on Metropolitan to 733

733 is a grey house with burgundy shutters on the left with a 3 car

garage

[you might see our neighbor's mailbox, #734; ours is behind it]
