One of our current AF Fellows, Col. Dan Finkelstein (cc’d) was approached by the Air Force Academy seeking assistance in building one or two new accredited degree programs in the general areas of big data/AI/cyber/math. They are seeking help getting that off the ground and are wondering if there are experts at Argonne who could assist with contributions such as curriculum development, teaching (on site), advising, etc. They have funds to cover at least one person full time (remaining as an Argonne employee, at least in the near to mid-term) and possibly more.

Could I ask you to circulate this within your divisions and let me know if you have anybody who is interested in learning more? I promised AFA that I would give them a status update by next Tuesday.
