The Masters Program in Computer Science at the University of Chicago (
https://masters.cs.uchicago.edu/) is currently recruiting for part-time Lecturers to teach during the 2020/21 school year.
These positions typically involve teaching one class during an academic quarter (Autumn, Winter, Spring, or Summer), with the possibility of being reappointed to teach additional classes. These positions are part-time and benefits-ineligible, and primarily
intended for industry professionals and domain experts who have full-time employment elsewhere. Most classes are offered in the evening, although there is also the possibility of teaching during the daytime. Depending on the status of the COVID-19 crisis,
lecturers may be hired to teach classes online.

Applicants will be evaluated on teaching skills and command of specific course content. Applicants must have a master's degree or doctorate in Computer Science or a related field at the time of appointment, or 5 years of relevant industry experience.
