We recognize that some groups have already made connections to write proposals for the AI for Science component of the Future Computing LDRD PRIME.  As noted, this component is a 3-year effort, for which strong domain scientist engagement is required.   To facilitate further connections with the AI for Science component, we have established a private slack channel for discussions about research needs.  Please send an email to Valerie Taylor, Mike Papka, Salman Habib, or Ian Foster to be added to the channel.  

The 2-page concept papers are due Monday, June 22.
