Friendly reminder: Pre-approval student requests are due by January 27th.
In preparation of the 2021 Summer Student Program, please complete (for approval by Mike Papka) the Pre-Approval
Student Request Form no later than COB, Wednesday, January 27, 2021. You will be notified by email the week of February 1st if your request has been
approved or denied.

Dear Mentors & Student Stakeholders,
We hope you had a wonderful holiday break and are looking forward to partnering with you for 2021 summer student appointments. This summer’s appointments will continue as a virtual appointment. Please plan your student projects accordingly.
We will continue to share updates to the status of summer students as they become available to us.
As we are entering the selection period for Summer 2021 appointments, we wanted to remind you of the important dates for several of our seasonal
programs DOE and non-DOE sponsored Programs.

A targeted email for each of these programs will be sent as soon as the respective selection process opens to mentors. In that email, we will include specific considerations to keep in mind when selecting a student in that program.
