The deadline to participate in the Social Distancing Run/Walk is tomorrow. Today is a rainy day, but hopefully tomorrow will be better! Take a picture of yourself with your bib and send it to me. I hope a good chunk of the division participates and goes out to get some fresh air!

Subject: Social Distancing Virtual Run/Walk

Good morning CPS,

Have you felt like you haven’t been moving as much as you did when we were all in the office? Here is your chance to get moving and earn 100 virgin pulse points. Get creative with your bib number. Some combination of what you’ve done since March 17. (## days WFH/## bottles of wine consumed//## miles walked or ran//## of telecons participated in).

If you join in on the fun, send your photos to me as well so I can put something together for the division!

• Argonne Running Club presents the Social Distancing virtual run/walk: The Social Distancing run (5k) and walk (2.5k) will be a virtual event and is to be completed (on your own) anytime between April 23-30, 2020.  This will be the first time that the ARC is sponsoring a virtual event, so we are all eager to see everyone participate in their own way.
  • Print out your bib (attached) at home
  • Fill out your name and bib number
  • Take a selfie with your bib during or after your run/walk
  • Post selfie on the ARC Facebook page OR email it to runandwalk@anl.gov for attendance credit (100 Virgin Pulse points)
  • The running club will also share some of those selfies on various Argonne Cares teams channels.
