Please pass this on to folks that might have an interest. Over the years many Argonne scientists have taught in the program.

Hi everyone,

The Masters Program in Computer Science at the University of Chicago (https://masters.cs.uchicago.edu/) is currently recruiting for part-time Lecturers to teach during the 2019/20 school year.

These positions typically involve teaching one class during an academic quarter (Autumn, Winter, Spring, or Summer), with the possibility of being reappointed to teach additional classes. These positions are part-time and benefits-ineligible, and primarily intended for industry professionals and domain experts who have full-time employment elsewhere. Most classes are offered in the evening, although there is also the possibility of teaching during the daytime.

We are specifically looking for candidates who can teach the following classes:

- Cloud Computing: https://apply.interfolio.com/62553
- Python Programming: https://apply.interfolio.com/62552
- UI/UX: https://apply.interfolio.com/62557
- Web Development: https://apply.interfolio.com/62508

We are also looking for candidates who can teach classes in the following areas:

- Data Analysis / Machine Learning: https://apply.interfolio.com/62556
- Computer Security: https://apply.interfolio.com/62554
- Theoretical Computer Science: https://apply.interfolio.com/62555

Applicants will be evaluated on teaching skills and command of specific course content. Applicants must have completed a Master's degree in Computer Science or have equivalent professional experience in the specific course areas. Applicants with a PhD in Computer Science or experience in teaching at the university level will be given preferred consideration.

We will begin reviewing applications on May 20th. Applications before that date are strongly encouraged.
