The DOE ECRP FOA was announced today:  https://science.osti.gov/-/media/grants/pdf/foas/2021/SC_FOA_0002421.pdf

The one FOA is for labs and universities.  The timing is earlier than last year.

The deadline for the required pre-proposal submission is November 20, 2020.  The lab is working on the details for the internal selection process. 

If you plan to submit an ECRP pre-proposal to ASCR, please notify the appropriate POC based upon the target area:

• Applied Math [ASCR areas (1) through (3)]:  Stefan Wild
• Computer Science [ASCR areas (4) through (6) and (7b)]:  Paul Hovland
• Quantum Computing and Communication [ASCR area (7a) and (8)]:  Valerie Taylor

The POCs will help with communications with the appropriate PM as well as identify a mentor and red team for the proposal review.
