Re: [JLSE-Admins] Cannot authenticate ANL username/pass during JLSE account creation
Hi Michael, You can create an account using the same email as your existing MCS account, and not use your ANL credentials. The backend system will tie the two accounts (and thus your badge number) together. The issue with your ANL credentials not working is there's a pretty significant propagation delay (at least a day) from CIS' Active Directory to Unix LDAP server. We pull off their OpenLDAP server, not directly from Active Directory. Ben

Hello,
I am a new hire with the CESAR team (MCS division) trying to create a JLSE account. My user name and password pass the Argonne credential test page listed on the account site. When I type my ANL account and pass though, it gives me the following error message:
Unable to authenticate your ANL username and password
I have tried multiple times, with both my ANL and MCS credentials, and I'm sure I checked "I agree". Not sure how to proceed. Can you offer any help, or is this a larger problem with the ANL system? I can log in to everything else.
Thank you!
