Done. Note, /soft is shared across like platform machines (i.e. x86_64, ppc64, armv7l).

I can't find modules or soft environment or MPI libraries on Dowd. Where are they located?

We don't have softenv or similar setup in JLSE. It was decided early on that typical users in JLSE would be capable of figuring out their own environments. There's a few installs of mpich in /soft/libraries/mpi on the x86_64 /soft. Note the mpich-intel install is statically compiled and overly optimized, so it's probably not the best for general use. I don't think anyone has done the same for ppc64. If you'd like to install mpich or similar let me know. Just a quick note, JLSE resources aren't scheduled, so please be courteous of other users.
