Ben, I think you are planning to build a 8-node Haswell cluster. Is this cluster dedicated to a particular project? Can I switch one of the cluster nodes to the OS devel mode? maybe booting from a local disk. Time-shared manner is fine with me. I'm currently working on two papers using this Haswell node and fixing Linux kernel 4.0 apic related bug. I hope I can finish them the end of March and return the node to you.
